We recommend XL caps as the more versatile option: they support a wider range of base sizes, not just larger models. If you paint in batches and want to keep a full squad mounted and ready, a set of standard caps gives you the numbers.
For sub-assemblies, cork inserts let you mount pinned pieces directly onto the handle. Useful if you paint heads, weapons, or banners separately before final assembly.

Admittedly, I haven't tried any other products that serve this purpose, but for my hands (18cm from pinky to thumb and middle finger to palm when splayed out) this painting handle is a very comfortable fit, and I can't imagine going back to painting without it.
The ability to turn the model with my thumb, and keep a whole unit of models on the additional caps (also recommend) are great touches, but overall the best part is ergonomic design of the handle.

This stuff works great. It is the only stuff I've found that works well keeping your miniatures firmly in place and does not stick to them when you separate them. Nothing else comes close. Doesn't get hard or dry, but does tend to begin lose its mojo a bit after a couple of months of consistant use. It can be repurposed as filler, etc.

Feels comfortable in the hand, and I really appreciate the magnet in the bottom and disk they give you. Gives me a lot more confidence setting down the handle with the mini still attached.
