Most builders work under a random desk lamp that throws harsh shadows across the kit. Sanding scratches, mould lines and tiny nub marks disappear in the contrast, then pop back out the moment you spray primer, gloss or clear coat. Under that light, you are guessing.

The R9 desk lamp is built to show you what is really on the surface while you are still working on it. A wide, even light spread removes hard shadows on armour panels and mechanical detail, so you can actually see where seams are filled and nub marks are gone. High colour accuracy makes gloss, metallics and decals read closer to daylight, so you can balance tones and weathering before you commit to clear coats or final photos.

Set it above your cutting mat or spray booth and every part you clip, sand and test‑fit is easier to inspect. You spend less time chasing surprises after varnish, and more time refining the build where it actually counts.

Brushing straight from a dry palette or the pot is hard to control on smooth armour panels and small mechanical parts. Paint thickens on the brush, dries on the palette between coats, and your mix keeps changing across the kit. On big flat areas and clean colour separation, those changes show.

An Everlasting wet palette keeps your acrylics at a workable consistency for much longer, so you can focus on how the paint goes on instead of racing the drying time. Mix once and keep that mix ready for basecoats and highlights across the model, instead of it turning to glue on one part and a wash on the next. It is especially useful when you brush‑paint panels, weapons, backpacks or small details on top of coloured plastic or primer.
