How to use brand new and air dried foams

Foams do dry out..
Our foam pads are shipped in a semi-hydrated state and are ready to use straight away.
When a foam pad is not in contact with water for long periods of time it will dry out, become rigid and often a little warped. Even after just a few hours it may resemble a stone in colour and touch. This is perfectly normal.
How to rehydrate your foam:
If you receive a new foam pad that has dried out, you can easily rehydrate the foam by placing it in the palette tray, adding cold water and leaving it for 10-30 minutes (see below). You can speed the hydration up by holding it under cold running water and gently massaging it with your hands to help it absorb moisture. Once softened you can then continue to setup your wet palette as normal.
