Why Redgrass Brushes Belong in Your Kit
A well-made brush changes how painting feels. A tip that holds its point, a belly that carries enough paint for a full stroke, hair that snaps back reliably. Together these qualities make painting more enjoyable and results more consistent. If you have been working with whatever brushes came in a starter kit, the difference is immediate.

The Redgrass brush range was developed with one priority: performance across everything a miniature painter actually does. The Size 2 is the brush most painters reach for first and last. Large enough to basecoat, precise enough for detail work, and balanced well enough to use for a full session without fatigue. The Size 2/0 covers the finest work. Eyes, freehand lines, and edge highlights where placement has to be exact.

The Redgrass Dry Brush sits alongside the sable range as a specialist tool for a specific job. If you drybrush at all, having a brush built for it rather than a broken down round brush makes a real difference to the results. It handles texture work, edge highlights, and basing with genuine control.

Well made and feels good in-hand. This brush is a great size for picking out the fine details on models that are too small for your typical make-up brushes or other large round tip traditional dry brushes. Glad to add it to my arsenal!

Absolutely perfect, the brush is everything you need, pleasant to use, neither too soft nor too stiff, the paint reserve is good, and the bristle is of good quality if you take good care of it. It's a must-have and, for me, the standard to use in the hobby.

Pretty decent for the price. It's a very good balanced brush for the money, still have to keep trying for the longevity of it though - but so far it behaves well and keeps tip ok. It's not top notch, but very close.
