Fits for small as larger models.
I replaced all my normal caps by some XL to work on my fully mounted figs and recycle all my old normal sized caps with some RedGrass pinning Cork for my sub-assembly work.

I do a lot of 40K vehicles and these swapable XLs are so handy for my sub assemblies. I can stick my parts with grey tack and have them on my desk and then quickly swap them.

These are just as great as the regularly sized ones, but styled differently with a fluted top to accommodate the base – I found this also helps as a thumb or finger rest for painting at times, which is great. I would just note that for the smaller base and figures, the extra width of the cap + the wide lip can get in the way, so these are perfect for about 32mm bases and up IMO, and definitely usable for 25-28, though I start to consider the smaller caps at that point.

I’ve been using the handle for a few years, I didn’t know about these caps. It’s really great for bigger parts and it also works well for larger units.
(J’utilise la poignée depuis quelques années, je ne connaissais pas ces capuchons. c’est vraiment génial pour les pièces un peu grande et cela convient aussi aux petites pour les grande unités.)

Great for the larger items, but still can be used for smaller. I could see where those with big fingers would like the curve to spin over the smaller caps. Still knocking for price point for what you are getting, seem a bit high, but good product, does what its supposed to do and does work better than the smaller caps for the wider, 2-3″+ bases.

These have been great for painting my Aeldari Wraithguards. The wide base helps them stick firmly in place and the spinning feature of the handle really speeds up the process while being comfortable

These XL Caps allow you to attach bigger figurine bases using their putty and take advantage of the 360º rotation system.
Also allows you to attach RedGrass cork discs to it to hold metal stems for subassembly painting.
(Support permettant de fixer à l’aide de la pate collante les socles de figurines un peu plus large et de profiter du système de rotation.
Permet aussi d’y fixer des rondelles RedGrass en liège pour y piquer des tiges de férailles dedans.)

I bought the large caps for The Witcher: Old World – Legendary Hunt minis. The minis are quite large and fit perfectly on these caps.
