Mounting putty for Redgrass Painting Handle
Fifteen grams of our best mounting putty in neutral grey. Stick anything with it. Works especially well with the RGG360 miniature handles for secure, removable model mounting.
Mounting putty solves one of the most persistent frustrations in miniature painting: the model that shifts or topples mid-session. Roll a small amount into a ball, press it onto the cap of your RGG360 Painting Handle, and seat the model base firmly on top. The grip holds through extended brushwork but releases cleanly once the paint is dry. The same putty works well for airbrushing too: press the model base onto a spare coin or bottle cap and hold that instead. 15 g will last a long time.

This stuff works great. It is the only stuff I’ve found that works well keeping your miniatures firmly in place and does not stick to them when you separate them. Nothing else comes close. Doesn’t get hard or dry, but does tend to begin lose its mojo a bit after a couple of months of consistant use. It can be repurposed as filler, etc.
This Putty sticks well and is reusable. It does not matter if airbrush overspray gets on it; it can still be used after rubbing the paint off.
The adhesion is very good and it’s not a dust magnet as other putty. Especially important for pet owners. It also does not damage your paint job.
Reusable over and over again! Used for hundreds of painted miniatures so far! I’ll be buying more!
