RGG Glass Palette for Painter Lite and v1!
Oil paints offer a unique set of characteristics and rewards for miniature painters. They can be worked for a long time to easily create advanced effects, such as layering and smooth blending.
We have designed a glass plate insert, so you can transform your RGG wet palette into a dry palette. It is perfect for oil painting and weathering techniques. When sealed inside either our Painter Lite or v1 case, it will keep your oil paints fresher for longer. Your paints are ready to go wherever and whenever you decide to use them next.
This dry palette will serve you reliably for a long time. The palette is made of tempered glass, with beveled edges, rounded corners for easy and safe handling. The neutral gray background will give you the best color perception. The surface itself can be cleaned easily. 4 durable feet will keep it stable.
RGG Glass Palette Painter Lite, compatible with Painter v1 and Lite, will offer a working area of 189 x 139mm (7.4″ x 5.5″).
What’s inside the box:
- RGG Glass Palette for Painter Lite – Natural Gray
- 4 rubber feet
Smart fitting, good with glass, easy to clean. Just let acrylics dry and scrape carefully off.
Good to have if fit into another product like it does.
The Redgrass Glass Palette has been a great addition to my wet palette, allowing me to switch between the two to achieve the texture and character with my acrylic paints as needed when painting miniatures. The shape of the palette makes it easy to tidy away neatly with my Everlasting Palette (v1), and it is really easy to scrape dried paint off when cleaning. It looks great and works as expected.
Hola!
I used to put my oils on cardboard like it is sometimes advised by influencers to absorb the excess linseed oil but in hot weather this causes premature dryng. This is problematic especially if you are working on a large project. So I bought the glass palette. My oils stay usable far longer now. For very big projects I cover the glass palette with cling foil, put it in the fridge and my oils stay usable for weeks. This is especially useful if you mixed that one special hue that took you a long time to create. The glass palette is also sturdy enough to handle and is so designed that you will not cut yourself when moving it.
I’ve been using the Redgrass Glass Palette with my Painter Lite wet palette, and honestly, I love it. The gray tempered glass surface is perfect for mixing – colors show up clearly, and it feels great to work on. I mostly use it for thicker paints and drybrushing, and cleanup is a breeze. Dried paint just scrapes right off without damaging the surface. It fits perfectly into the palette case too, so everything stays neat and portable. If you’re into oils, dry techniques, or just want a reusable, tidy solution for mixing – this is absolutely worth it.
