Made of tempered glass, with bevelled edges, rounded corner for easy and safe handling, this dry palette will serve you reliably for a long time.
Specially developed for oil paints, it’s also compatible with acrylics when you need to work with dry technics.
The neutral gray background we use will give you the best color perception.
The surface itself can be cleaned easily. 4 rubber feet will keep it stable.
RGG Glass Palette for Studio XL!
Oil paints offer a unique set of characteristics and rewards for miniature painters. They can be worked for a long time to easily create advanced effects, such as layering and smooth blending.
We have designed a glass plate insert, so you can transform your RGG wet palette into a dry palette. It is perfect for oil painting and weathering techniques. When sealed inside either our Studio XL v1 or v2 case, it will keep your oil paints fresher for longer. Your paints are ready to go wherever and whenever you decide to use them next.

The RGG Glass Palette – Studio XL has become an absolute staple in my painting setup. I love how effortless it is to clean—dried paint scrapes off easily, and stains don’t linger, so it always looks fresh. It handles all paint types beautifully: metallics go on smoothly, contrast paints behave perfectly, and it’s superb for mixing subtle shades and oils paints. The surface feels premium and is sturdy enough for vigorous mixing, yet gentle on my brushes. Its versatility adds so much convenience, making every painting session more efficient and enjoyable.
The glass palette offers me an easy to use tool, especially for beginners who aren’t familiar with oil paints.
Really useful for different things, also used to work clay on it
I use it standalone for my kids painting projects. Easy cleanup, quick setup and resisted them for quite some time now! Much better than Games Workshops paper pads my kids used to eat through. Great substitute but won’t pardon clumsiness if they drop it 🙂
