I originally used the Painter Lite wet palette and was very happy with it, but I needed a larger work surface, so I upgraded to the Studio XL v2. It offers the same high-quality experience as the Lite version, just on a bigger scale, which is exactly what I was looking for. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is the lid design, it’s noticeably more difficult to open compared to the Lite, which had a smoother, more user-friendly closure. That said, the palette still does a great job of keeping paints wet and workable. A fantastic product overall.

The best got better. The seal feels a bit more sturdy and the size is just perfect. A great upgrade if you have the v1 and an essential buy personally for anyone looking for an upgrade on their overall experience if you’re looking for a wet pallete!

This is the best palette out there! It’s a rigid firm plastic and the lid is snug and secure. I’ve tried other brands, and they bend, re too small, or made or flimsy plastic.

After using the standard v2 palette for a while I realized that I needed more space for my paints and this Studio XL v2 is the perfect solution. Now I don’t have to worry about running out of it.
I use this palette for my personal studio and the standard one when I have to paint outside my place. If you can afford it in terms of work place, then this is the one to buy.

After a friend of mine told me about wet palettes and after I ordered my R9 Lamp from RedGrass I decided to go completely down the rabbit hole with ordering the Studio XL v2 Wet Palette.
What can I say… After setting it up I tried it and fell in love with the longevity that paint can have if you use this wet palette. Sometimes, when a little burnt-out from painting, I grab it after 2 weeks and need just a drop of water for reactivating the color for the next use case.
I’m pretty sure to save a lot of paint to thanks to this wet palette!

Excellent Product with plenty of work area, which is what I wanted in an upgrade from my previous wet palette from another brand.
The lid is a bit of a pain to get off but I will take that due to it being a solid seal and makes it so that the drying out time is longer than any wet palette I have previously used.
