Excellent product, but users should be aware to follow basic cleanliness for the paper. If you’re not going to be painting for more than the briefest of time, clean the paper and let it dry to maintain its usefulness, as well as drying out the sponge, or black mold spots will grow.
Thank you for the review Tim. The Reusable Membranes can be washed (with care) and reused many times. With the lid of the v2 palettes correctly sealed, paint will remain workable for many days without any problems. Our wet palettes are mold resistant, and we do have some useful guides on our FAQ page for cleaning the foams and palettes.
I love this paper! I’ve reused the same sheet at least 15 times already, and I still haven’t needed to swap it out—even though the packaging says it’s good for 4–10 uses. If you take care of it properly, it lasts much longer than expected.
Before switching to this palette, I used the one from a competing brand, which is also a solid choice—but their paper feels more like parchment. The Studio v2 membranes are on another level. I saw a lot of YouTube mini painters recommend this wet palette, and many specifically mentioned how great the paper is. And oh boy, I didn’t realize how big the difference was until I tried it myself.
Now I’m completely spoiled—I can’t go back to using anything else!

Great membranes, I purchased this as I was sceptical that they would last.
However despite the membrane I have used being a horrible mess of colours, I am currently on the fourth usage which is surprising.
