Very few painters enjoy the moment of the build process that revolves around removing models from their sprues, but with the RGG Precision Nippers it becomes quick and painless. Why do you need them?
To work with plastic components from a sprue, you need a pair of sprue cutters to separate each component from its gate. When removing components, cut the smallest parts first, for instance the piece adjoining a delicate hand, head, or weapon. This method puts less pressure on the parts most liable to break. Redgrass cutters glide through sprues and apply as little pressure on the plastic as possible, so component removal stays easy.
Your figures stay safe during the removal process. The sharp tip on the Redgrass Precision Nippers lets you cut each component accurately and close to the model. A clean cut means you are less likely to damage your figures, or yourself, during the assembly stage. Each cut also leaves as little excess plastic attached as possible, which shortens the clean-up work in the second half of the build.

Best precision nippers. Cut like butter. I´m really not very skilled cutting sprues, and now looks like an easier job.
I have owned the precision nippers for ~1.5 years now and have absolutely loved them! I did have an issue where my first pair broke within the warranty period. Luckily, I was able to provide photos to Redgrass, and they helped replace them in a super timely manner. I was so happy as these are my favorites!
