Our wet palettes are specifically designed to prevent acrylic miniature paint from drying out too quickly. They are essential tools for miniature painters, allowing you to thin your paints and extend your painting sessions. You can even take a break and return later simply by closing the lid. Wet palettes help you reduce paint waste and implement advanced techniques like wet blending, layering, and glazing. They also make it much easier to mix colors and create smooth gradients for better transitions.
On the other hand, our Glass [dry] palettes are primarily intended for use with oil paints and techniques such as dry-brushing with acrylics. Three sizes are available, each compatible with one of our wet palettes. This means you can choose to store the dry palette inside the wet palette case to preserve your oil paints for a longer duration.
