How to setup your Redgrass R9 Desk Lamp

When you receive your R9 Desk Lamp you will see that, to minimise the footprint, it comes neatly folded up in the custom designed box.

To ensure correct operation and to avoid accidental damage you should follow these steps and watch the video below.

1. Lift the lamp carefully from the packaging tray and hold it with the lamp head upper most and pointing away from you. The red cable should be closest to you.
2. Hold the lamp arms with one hand and with the other, rotate the head CLOCKWISE 180º until it is pointing towards you.
3. Turn the lamp sideways and move the lower arm section (the part with the mount and cable connection) downwards until an approximate 90º angle is reached.
4. The Redgrass R9 Lamp is now ready to be mounted into the desk clamp.
5. After securely attaching the desk clamp, carefully position the lamp so that the spigot is vertical and insert into the clamp. Push down until the full length of the spigot is engaged and then gently tighten the retention screw. This screw is designed to prevent accidental removal of the lamp from the clamp during adjustment. It is not designed to prevent rotation of the lamp. If you need to rote the arm of the lamp you should loosen this screw first to avoid damaging the spigot.
6. Connect the power supply and your Redgrass R9 Lamp is now ready for use.
7. Adjust the angle of the arms, rotate the head and light bars to achieve the optimum light position for your creativity.
