Foams will dry out #
Usually, our foam pads are shipped in a semi-hydrated state and are ready to use straight away. However, when a foam pad is not in contact with water for long periods of time it will dry out and become rigid. Even after just a few hours it may resemble a stone in colour and touch. This is perfectly normal.
How to rehydrate your foam #
If you receive a new foam pad that has dried out, you can easily rehydrate the foam by submerging it in cold water for 20-30 minutes or by holding it under cold running water and gently massaging it with your hands as it begins to absorb moisture. Once softened you can then continue to setup your wet palette as normal.
